What Do Homeless Cats in Utah Need? A Kitty Carnival.
In July 2011, PetSmart Charities sponsored a very special community adoption event aimed at finding homes for homeless cats and kittens in Salt Lake City. Many adoption events focus on finding homes for dogs, and cats are often adopted at much lower rates. Taking PetSmart Charities® into the Community
When PetSmart Charities launched its community adoption initiative last year, the result was a staggering 3,517 lives saved during 21 community adoption events. This year, we have more than 33 events scheduled and have already saved 2,822 pets – and there are more events to come!
